This is a stunning 1940s ruby ring in the shape of a bow in 14k solid rose gold with a platinum accent on the edge. This ring was given to the only daughter of a wealthy family in the midwest "as a reminder of their love" for those of you that might not know before the days of post it notes and cell phones people would tie a string on their finger to remind them to do something.
